European carmaker Škoda Auto has scheduled a partial suspension of activity at its Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic following a shortage of parts.
The company has targeted the week of Jun 28 trade unions noted to the media on Thursday. Škoda unions have also hinted at cutbacks in other units for the same reason.
Volkswagen had earlier suspended operations in the last week of April and mid-May due to the global semiconductor chip shortage causing supply chain disruptions.
