Copper Fox reported on the results of its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) on SEDAR for its Van Dyke Copper Project in Arizona on Feb 26.
The Canadian miner had initiated the PEA in May last year and received its results in January 2021. The resource estimate based on the PEA is 97.6mn mt of indicated copper deposit with 325,225mt of copper content and 168mn mt of inferred copper deposit with 456,767mt of copper content.
The PEA also made a few suggestions such as upgrading the project to a high resource classification, obtaining the Arizona Protection Permit and Injection Control Permit for the project, completing an ISCR test to understand the overall layout of the project, and keeping the total budget of the project around $15.5mn.
