The US Department of Commerce has imposed anti-dumping (AD) duties on imports of heavy walled rectangular steel pipes and tubes from Mexico.
Commerce determined that exporters made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value between September 1, 2017, and August 31, 2018.
Commerce has assigned weighted-average dumping margins to nine companies of which, seven were assigned a weighted average margin of 6.64pc while two were assigned a different margin. Maquilacero was assigned a duty of 4.89pc while Productos Laminados de Monterrey was assigned the highest margin of all companies at 7.47pc.
Commerce will instruct US Customs and Border Protection to levy AD duties on all appropriate entries of subject merchandise in accordance with the published order.
