Manufacturing sales totaled $502,166mn in November 2019, down 0.8pc compared to the same month in 2018, according to US Census Bureau statistics.
November sales declined 0.3pc from October 2019. Monthly inventory data for manufacturers in November was valued at $700,989mn, 0.3pc down from one month earlier. However, it rose 2.7pc compared to November 2018.
The adjusted data for estimated monthly retail sales for motor vehicles and parts dealers in November was $108,013mn, up 0.2pc over October 2019 and increased 0.7pc compared to November 2018. Retail inventories of motor vehicles and parts dealers for November 2019 were valued at $239,946mn, a 1.8pc decrease from one month earlier, but a 0.6pc increase over November 2018.
