The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping (AD) margins on aluminum foil from four countries.
In an Apr 28 release, Commerce levied AD duties on aluminum foil from Armenia, Brazil, Oman, and Russia.
The investigation, which reviewed the alleged indiscretions on Wednesday, was initiated on a petition by the Aluminum Association. In line with the preliminary results, Commerce will direct US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to collect cash deposits from the producers on the rates mentioned in the table below.
Exporter | AD Margin |
Armenia | 188.84pc |
Brazil | 13.87-63.05pc |
Oman | 4.03pc |
Russia | 62.18pc |
Commerce will publish its final AD and countervailing duty (CVD) verdict in September 2021, while the US International Trade Commission has yet to choose a final verdict date.
