The US has levied anti-dumping duties and countervailing subsidy rates on certain steel product imports from Thailand, Austria and Turkey, effective immediately.
Early Friday, Commerce announced that the US International Trade Commission (USITC) issued anti-dumping orders on carbon and alloy steel threaded rods from Thailand, oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from Turkey, and cut-to-length plates from Austria.
The USITC levied a 41.19pc anti-dumping margin on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plates from Austria, applicable Dec 13.
An anti-dumping margin of 20.83pc on threaded rod from Thailand is effective immediately, while Commerce placed a marginal, countervailing subsidy rate of 0.90pc on OCTG from TAS Boursan.
