The US Department of Commerce has finalized antidumping duties on companies that supplied carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from the Czech Republic.

The department said in a notification on Thursday that it was levying final duties after finding no new reason to revisit the preliminary findings that confirmed sales at less than the fair value of the material between July 1, 2019, and June 30, 2020.

Commerce has kept the AD duties for Liberty Ostrava and Moravia Steel—the main respondents—at 51.70pc and for all other exporters from the country at 51.07pc.

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will now be instructed to continue its liquidation suspension of these products that were entered or withdrawn for consumption on or after December 21, 2020. The CBP will also require a cash deposit that is equal to the estimated weighted dumping margin from these companies.
