US segregated aluminum alloys for export slipped on LME Aluminium market declines, while lower quality grades ticked up, and traditional ISRI grades remained unchanged on Thursday.
The weekly Davis Index for 95/2 Zorba inched up by 0.1¢/lb to 51.8¢/lb fas US port, while 99/3 Zorba ticked up by the same amount to 53.1¢/lb fas.
The Davis Index for both Taint/Tabor and for Tense inched down by 0.1¢/lb to 54.2¢/lb fas US port and 53.7¢/lb fas, respectively, on Thursday.
The index for 6063 new bare scrap stepped down by 2.1¢/lb to 79.2¢/lb fas, while A356 wheels climbed by 2.7¢/lb to 70.8¢/lb fas. Aluminum-copper radiators decreased by 4.3¢/lb, to $1.397/lb fas on the weaker copper market, which moved lower but is still hovering well above the $3/lb mark.
The official three-month LME Aluminium contract decreased by $44.50/mt up to $1,795.50/mt on Thursday, from $1,840/mt on Oct 22.
