The US Department of Commerce has corrected its final countervailing duties (CVD) notice on aluminum extrusions from China to add three Chinese companies that were previously excluded.

 

In a notification published on Feb 8, Commerce said that it was adding Shenyang Yuanda Aluminium Industry Engineering, Summit Heat Sinks Metal, and Wenzhou Yongtai Electric to the existing list of six companies that were levied with CVD on aluminum extrusions. All three companies have been slapped with a final ad valorem rate of 242.15pc.

 

Among the other companies that were levied with a CVD in the previous notification, Activa International, CRRC Changzhou Auto Parts, Guangdong Xingfa Aluminum, and Precision Metal Works, will pay 242.15pc in CVD, while Changzou Tenglong Auto Parts and Dongguan Aoda Aluminum have been imposed with a CVD of 16.08pc.
