Ukraine’s industrial production in October declined by 5pc without calendar adjustments from the prior year but increased by 5.8pc from September, according to media reports citing data released by Ukrainian State Statistics Service. The country’s industrial output fell by 4.4pc in September.

 

With calendar adjustment, the country’s industrial output in October fell by 3.9pc from the preceding year but grew by 0.1pc as compared to the prior month.

 

Ukraine’s mining industry output in October registered a 2.5pc decline from the prior year, while metallurgy and finished metal product output fell by 3.3pc from October 2019. Iron ore mining in October dropped by 1.5pc from the preceding year.

 

Ukraine’s industrial production in the first ten months of the year (Jan-Oct, 2020) declined by 6.8pc as compared to the prior-year period.

 

In the Jan-Oct period, Ukraine’s metallurgy and finished metal products output dropped by 11.7pc, while iron ore mining output fell by 5.4pc as compared to the prior-year period.
