Turmec, an Irish recycling engineering solutions company, plans to install an advanced material recycling facility at Wiltshire, UK to collect kerbside recyclable material, including aluminium and steel cans.
The plant would separate co mingled recyclable material from 220,000 households in the region with a 20mt per hour processing capacity. The equipment contains various screens with optical and magnetic elements to maximise the recovery of aluminium and steel cans among other recyclable waste material.
