Turkey exported 508,000mt of rebar in January 2021 down 10pc compared with 563,000mt in January 2020, according to statistical source SteelData.

 

Long product shipments from Turkey to Israel and Singapore increased by 11pc and by 4pc to 97,000mt and 42,000mt, respectively, during the period under review and decreased to Yemen by 59pc to 56,000mt.

 

Turkey exported 57,000mt of rebar to Hong Kong in January and 55,000mt to Peru, while there were no supplies to those countries in January 2020.

 

Jamaica and Lebanon were other important outlets, where Turkey shipped 24,000mt and 22,000mt of rebar, respectively.
