Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

Turkey’s Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) grew by 2.46pc in July over the prior month and gained 44.9pc compared to the same month a year ago, according to the Turkish statistics agency TUIK. 

 

The country’s mining and quarrying D-PPI rose by 34.4pc and manufacturing increased by 47.9pc in July against the same year-ago month. Mining and quarrying prices grew by 3.35pc in July against June while manufacturing encountered a more limited growth of 2.37pc during the same timeframe. 

 

D-PPI for the basic metal industry climbed by 5.14pc in July over the preceding month and was up 108.5pc against July 2020. The D-PPI for manufactured metal products rose by 2.35pc in July against June and grew by 49.69pc from July 2020.
