Teck Resources has announced new senior management appointments slated to begin in September and October.

 

Jonathan Price has been appointed the company’s senior vice president and chief financial officer beginning October 1, succeeding Ron Millos after the latter recently announced his retirement. Price joined Teck from BHP and has international mining experience in various financial roles. 

 

Next month, Harry “Red” Conger will begin his tenure as Teck’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. Conger comes with more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry and will join Teck from Freeport McMoran Americas. 

 

Also next month, Nicolas Hopper will join the firm as its senior vice president of corporate development, replacing Andrew Golding, who’s retiring. Hooper comes with extensive experience in the mining sector and has vast knowledge commodities, jurisdictions, and corporate strategies. He’s joining Teck from Rothschile and Co.
