Sweden’s crude steel production increased by 6.5pc to 2.5mn mt in the first half of the year compared to the same half in 2020, according to The Swedish iron and steel association, Jernkontoret.
In June, the country’s crude steel output rose by 24pc to 414,000mt compared to the same month in 2020. The data compiled by Jernkontoret is from 11 steel manufacturers in Sweden, it said in a statement.
