The St. Paul Foundry in Minnesota completed its annual surveillance audit that ensures customers have access to quality management systems.
The audits, known as AS9100(D) and ISO 9001:2015, include a detailed audit of thousands of procedures, work instructions, standards, materials, and methods instructions. The audit is designed for quality standards in the aerospace industry and its certification automatically earns 9001:2015 certification.
David Hartigan, Quality Engineering Manager for St. Paul Foundry, said that the auditor was satisfied with the foundry’s progress, adding that the growth and maturity of its systems was exceptional.
St. Paul Foundry manages value-add supply chains and supplies castings for OEM markets that include aerospace, naval, oil and gas, pressure equipment, refrigeration, pumping, electric generation, and compressed air and valves.
