San Lorenzo Gold Corp acquired its second copper development in Chile by purchasing 100pc of the Punta Alta mine in Chile, the Canadian company reported on Thursday.
An initial sampling found that Punta Alta ore may contain 0.32-1.33pc copper, 3.39-16.75g / t gold, and 0.1-0.15pc cobalt.
San Lorenzo acquired the property from a private Chilean company as part of its product expansion into copper. The mine covers an area of 2,000 hectares and is accessible all year round from the nearby town of Vallenar.
