James J Claussen has taken over as Ryerson Holding Corporation’s new chief financial officer and executive vice president effective Jan 11.
Prior to this role, Claussen served as president of Ryerson’s subsidiary, Central Steel & Wire (CS&W), and continues to do so until the company finds his replacement. Claussen joined Ryerson in 2002 and has served various financial positions in the company prior to becoming the president of CS&W.
Ryerson is a processor and distributor of industrial metals and employs close to 3,900 employees. In the third quarter of 2020, the company shipped a total of 489,000mt of metal.
