Rockcliff Metals Corp has upgraded its indicated mineral resources at its Talbot project to around 2.19mn mt consisting of a 4.44pc of copper equivalent grade.


The miner had undertaken a project to update the ore estimates from its Talbot project, which is a part of Rockcliff’s mining properties in Manitoba, Canada.


The project, implemented through P&E Mining Consultants not only revealed an indicated mineral resource classification of the deposit but also increased tonnage at improved grades, said Alistair Ross, president and chief executive officer, Rockcliff. 


The indicated mineral resources of 2.19mn mt also contain 2.33pc of pure copper grade ore, 1.79pc zinc, 2.06g/t of gold and 36g/t of silver grade. According to a statement by Rockcliff this estimate supersedes its 2017 estimate that had found 4.23mn mt of inferred mineral deposits at 1.61pc copper, 1.4pc zinc, 1.77g/t of gold and 28g/t of silver.
