Australian miner Red River Resources’ zinc concentrate production increased by 5.7pc to 7,430mt in Q2 FY2021 (ended December 21, 2020), from the preceding quarter.
In Q2, Red River mined 7.6pc less ore compared to the prior quarter at its Thalanga mine, tallying at 92,000mt. However, the ore processed at the facility rose to 112,000mt from 103,000mt on a quarterly basis.
The company’s copper concentrate production declined by 14pc to 3,564mt in the second quarter, compared with 4,073mt in Q1 FY2021 despite higher milling rates. In the same period under comparison, lead concentrate volumes also fell by 1.7pc to 1,914mt from 1,947mt.
