Production in construction sector in September declined by 2.5pc in the Euro area and by 2.7pc in the EU compared to same month in 2019, according to the Statistical Officer of the European Union (Eurostat).
Production in construction in declined by 2.9pc in the Euro area and by 2.5pc in the EU in September compared to the previous month.
On an annual basis, building construction in the Euro area fell by 3pc while civil engineering rose by 0.2pc. On the other hand, building construction in the EU was down by 2.9pc and civil engineering declined by 1.4pc in September compared to the same month in 2019, Eurostat reported.
Building construction in the Euro area fell by 3.2pc while civil engineering dropped by 0.4pc in September compared to the previous month. The EU saw a 2.7pc decrease in building construction and a 0.8pc drop in civil engineering in September compared to August this year.
