Australian metal producer NQ Minerals’ lead concentrate production increased to 8,160mt in the fourth quarter of 2019, from 4,712mt in the first quarter. The company’s total lead concentrate production for the year was at 24,980mt.
Around 70pc of the company’s revenue was from lead concentrates, according to their production report for the December 2019, which also includes Jan-Dec 2019 production data of lead and zinc at its Hellyer Operations, Tasmania.
The Hellyer mine commenced its production one year ago. Zinc concentrate production at the Hellyer mine fluctuated through the year, however, in the fourth quarter, the output was at its peak of 4,904mt. Jan-Dec 2019 production of zinc concentrates stood at 15,646mt.

In December 2019, NQ Minerals produced 3,049mt of lead concentrates and 1,827mt of zinc concentrates.
