Nebraska-based Norfolk Iron & Metal acquires Cd’A Metals which is headquartered in Washington state with three locations across the Inland Northwest. The acquisition expands Norfolk’s coverage in the Northwest and increases product line and processing capabilities.
Cd’A Metals provides bar, structural, plate, and sheet steel products along with ornamental iron. The definitive agreement has been signed with the transaction expected to close by Dec 31, 2020. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Norfolk Iron & Metal is a full-service steel service center network with 13 locations. Products include carbon steel beams, angles, channels, flat-rolled sheet, coil, plate, and tubing. Norfolk stretched its market access to the western region with its acquisition of Metalwest in 2018. Metalwest is a metal center for non-ferrous and carbon flat-rolled metals with eight locations.
