Metso Outotec will be supplying more than €100mn ($122.7mn) worth of equipment for a copper concentrator plant in Russia.  

 

While the company did not disclose the actual transaction value or name of the client, it said in a release on Dec 29 that the plant will be capable of processing a minimum of 80mn mt of copper ore per year and will have four production lines. The mining equipment provider also noted that it will be delivering supplies for two primary crushing stations to the same plant. 

 

Recently, the Finnish manufacturer received a similar €100mn order for a zinc processing plant to be delivered in Chelyabinsk, Russia, including a concentrator and ingot caster.
