Russian steelmakers Metalloinvest and United Metallurgical Company (OMK) recently discussed quality improvements the former’s concast billets need before being supplied to the latter.
A digital conference on September 11 was attended by managers of Metalloinvest’s Ural Steel plant and OMK’s Vyksa Steel Works, of which the former shipped 450,000mt of steel billets of varying grades to the latter.
