Kentucky-based Dajcor Aluminum will receive grants of more than $2mn for its expansion project. The governor of Kentucky awarded the funds to Perry County Fiscal Court, which applied for the grants for Dajcor’s expansion, according to local media.
The funds will support Dajcor to add a production line at its Hazard unit and enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
Besides funding for facility improvements and equipment purchase, the new facility will enable the company to add a natural oxide layer to its products, which enhances corrosion and wear resistance.
Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, Dajcor is a leading producer of anodized, extruded and fabricated aluminium products catering to the North American market.
