China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) believes automobile sales in the country could reach 1.82mn units in July, according to reports. The data is based on preliminary assessment.
Automobile sales in July could decline by 13.8pc from the prior-year period and by 9.7pc from the previous month.
Sales of passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles could decline by 11.2pc and 27.1pc, respectively, from June.
The association suggested auto sales increased by 19pc and reached 14.71mn units in the first seven months of this year (Jan-July) compared to the prior-year period. While passenger and commercial vehicle sales declined by 20.5pc and 13.3pc, respectively, compared to last year.
