India and Japan explore trade, investment and technology exchange opportunities in India’s petroleum, natural gas and steel sectors during a meeting of trade ministers of both countries in Delhi.
India’s Steel Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan invited enhanced Japanese investments in India’s oil and gas exploration, refinery and natural gas infrastructure. India expects an investment of $160bn in the country’s hydrocarbon sector by 2024 as it aspires to become a $5 trillion economy.
