Indian Seamless Metal Tubes (ISMT) has partially recommenced operations at its Ahmednagar plant in Maharshtra after receiving necessary permissions from government authorities allowing resumption of operations. The company, in compliance with the government guidelines had shut its operations on March 27 due to COVID-19 outbreak. ISMT now awaits necessary permissions from authorities to restart its other two plants in Maharashtra. 

 

The company has taken all the necessary measures and is adhering to the policies of government to meet the safety norms.

ISMT produces steel, tubes, auto components, bearings, tubes for mining among its other product mix. The company has three plants, all in Maharashtra.
