Ukraine-based Interpipe Steel’s steel production in the first quarter of the year (Jan-Mar, 2021) stood at 193,200mt, down by 10.8pc from the same period in the prior year, according to local media reports citing data released by the company.

In March 2021, the company’s steel output stood at 79,500mt, while in February, the company produced 58,800mt of steel.

Interpipe Steel is a part of the Interpipe group of companies located in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of Ukraine.

In 2020, the plant’s steel output declined by 11.2pc to 758,700mt from the previous year.

The company produces round steel billets used for pipe and wheel production.
