NMDC’s iron ore production at 3.13mn mt in Jan
National Mineral Development Corporation’s (NMDC) iron ore production in January remained unchanged at 3.13mn mt compared to the prior year, while sales decreased by 3.58pc to 2.96mn mt. On a cumulative basis (Apr-Jan 2020), NMDC’s iron ore production rose by 2.43pc to 25.7mn mt and sales increased by 2.97pc to 26mn mt from the prior year period.
