The daily Davis Index for P1020, Tuesday, rose by Rs584/mt ($7.96/mt) to settle at Rs150,805/mt ex-works India producer after Hindalco rose their aluminium product prices by Rs1,750/mt($23.87mt).
All three primary aluminium producers had increased their product prices on October 9 and 10. Nalco had raised prices by Rs3,600/mt on October 9 while Balco and Hindalco increased prices by Rs1,500/mt on October 10. The spot aluminium prices on LME rose by $24/mt to settle at $1,829/mt on October 12.
The Index for ADC 12, Tuesday, remained unchanged at Rs152,711/mt ex-works India producer.
The indexes for CG99.5, Tuesday, settled at Rs150,388/mt ex-works India producer, up by Rs583/mt while for EC rod settled at Rs156,310/mt ex-works India producer, up by Rs583/mt.
