Hydro Group has announced plans to shut down Holden Aluminium Technologies, a fabrication division in Bromyard, UK as part of its restructuring efforts. The company said that the operations at Bromyard will be moved to Hydro unit at Bedwas in South Wales.

The company has decided to close the facility in Bromyard due to challenging marketing conditions in the UK, said Hydro spokesperson quoted by local media.

Hydro said that the restructuring will be completed by the end of 2020 as per the established agreements with unions and the UK legislation. The plant supplies aluminium products to the auto, medical and real estate sectors. Its clientele includes automakers Renault, Aston Martin and Morgan Cars.
