Canada’s Highland Copper has acquired the White Pine North copper project for an undisclosed amount from First Quantum Minerals’ subsidiary Copper Range (CRC).
The White Pine unit is in Michigan, USA, with a mine life of 25 years. Exploration studies in 2019 have determined 133.4mn mt and 97.2mn mt of indicated and inferred copper resources, respectively.
Highland Copper has yet to disclose further drilling and production schedules.
