Indonesia’s Hengjaya Mines Resource, owned by Nickel Mines, has drilled out close to 20mn mt of measured resources with contents of 1.3pc Ni and 28pc Fe.
The indicated resources were around 109mn mt with 1.3pc Ni and 29pc Fe contents, while the inferred resource was 56mn mt with 1.3pc Ni and 27pc Fe contents.
Compared to the company’s drill in 2018, this one yielded better results. In 2018, the measured resources were 6.9mn mt at 1.2pc Ni and 23pc Fe, with the indicated resources of 50mn mt at 1.4pc Ni and 26pc Fe. The total Inferred resource was 120mn mt at 1.3pc Ni and 29pc Fe.
