Goodluck India has been awarded the Letter of Intent (LOI) by construction engineering company L&T for the supply and fabrication of special bridges for the bullet train project between Mumbai and Vapi. The LOI is for an order worth Rs1.98bn ($27.22mn). The project
The National High-Speed Rail Company Limited (NHSRCL) is laying a high-speed rail track for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. Bullet trains running at 320km/hr will cover the 508km distance between the two cities in about two hours. An estimated 70,000mt steel will be utilized for fabrication of steel bridges in the project, according to NHSRCL. L&T is contracted for the construction of 237km Mumbai-Vapi stretch of the project.
Goodluck India’s Structure division will work on the project. The company is a steel processor headquartered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh with a total annual production capacity exceeding 314,000mt. Goodluck manufactures and exports a range of galvanized sheets, coils, towers, hollows, CRC and pipes and tubes. The company’s end customers include automakers, infrastructure, O&G and engineering industries.
