General Motors plans to ramp up its production next month after the automaker announced that it no longer has difficulty securing parts.

Three of the company’s US pickup truck factories will begin operating on three production shifts starting Monday, June 1, while three more workshops in the US and Canada will operate on two production shifts. Five assembly plants will operate on a single shift, the company indicated.

The company’s most profitable vehicles, the redesigned Silverado and Sierra models, are in low supply and the carmaker is looking to replenish its dealers’ inventories with these vehicles before too long, it said, to cater to an anticipated additional demand from customers and dealers.
