Gespeg Resources is bringing MacLeod Exploration into its Davidson Project at a 50pc undivided interest.
Gespeg will retain full ownership of the Quebec-based mine and will accept a $5,000 nominal payment from MacLeod, however, the latter will also pay a 10pc operation fee on all work undertaken at the copper mines.
The Davidson project hosts 33 claims near an old mine that produced 1.6mn t (1.5mn mt) grading of 3.07pc copper. This project contains several copper showings, including at Clero, Blondeau, and Bouzan-Cuivre. Four more showings have recently been discovered.
Gespeg focuses on exploring for strategic and energy metals in Canada’s Gaspé and Chibougamau Québec regions.
