Germany’s electric car manufacturer, Next.e.GO Mobile is planning to enter the Mexican market to build a production unit.

 

E.Go announced that they will pair up with Mexico’s Questum, a subsidiary of Grupo Quimmco, to produce electric vehicles. The company’s focus is to manufacture budget cars that are smaller in size and affordable to a wider population. The company also manufactures light electric vans and electric busses.

 

The new plant in Mexico will also supply components to its units in the Americas. The company has not revealed the location of the plant in its official release. E.Go Mobile claims to produce the most sustainable battery electric vehicles as the auto industry across the world is trying to reduce emissions.

 

Next.e.Go is headquartered in Aachen, Germany. The company focuses on manufacturing electric vehicles and sustainable mobility systems using modular and scalable micro-factory.
