Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) achieved 13.8mn mt of pig iron production in the past five years. The 100mt blast furnace was installed on June 10, 2016.
CSP was the first integrated steel mill in the Northeast of Brazil. CSP has a portfolio of over 200 types of plates and exports to customers in over 20 countries. Slab exports in H1 2021 were about 1.3mn mt and primarily exported via the Pecém Port Complex.
CSP is an investment by Dongkuk Steel, Posco, and Vale.
