China’s auto exports scaled a record high in June driven by a recovery in the global economy. Chinese automakers exported 158,000 vehicles in June, up 1.5 times from a year ago and by 5pc from May, according to the data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
New energy vehicles exports comprised 11pc of total export in June.
In H1, 828,000 vehicles were exported, which is up 1.1 times from the prior year period. Sales rose by 25.6pc in H1 to over 12.89mn vehicles, while total sales in June was about 2.02mn units, which is down 12.4pc from a year ago.
