Five new steel plants will be constructed in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh after Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel gave his approval, according to media reports.
The construction of these steel plants is expected to develop the tribal-dominated region into industrial areas and generate employment for local youth.
As per the memorandum submitted by delegation of Sarpanch Sangh, the plants will be constructed on 500 acre land available in Ghotpal and Heeranar villages.
