Aluminum cans maker Ball Corp has promoted Daniel Fisher as president of the company in a slew of senior management changes.
The company announced on Dec 2, that Fisher would be leading the US-headquartered aluminum cans maker in this position and join the company’s Board of Directors. Fisher will report to John A. Hayes, chairman, and chief executive officer at Ball, who said that the promotion was part of the company’s long-term succession planning process.
Fisher has led Ball’s global beverage packaging division as a chief operating officer since 2016. Prior to that role, he led the company’s North American beverage business as president. Fisher joined Ball in the role of vice president finance and was then promoted to senior vice president finance and planning before taking over the responsibilities of the company’s beverage packaging business.
Ronald J. Lewis, currently the president, of Ball’s EMEA beverage packaging business will take over Fisher’s previous role as senior vice president and chief operating officer, global beverage packaging. Lewis joined Ball in his current position in 2019 and was previously the chief supply-chain officer for Coca Cola in Europe.
In addition to these appointments, Ball has also promoted Lisa A. Pauley, senior vice president, HR and administration, and Scott C. Morrison, senior vice president and chief financial officer, to the post of executive vice presidents for their respective functions.
