Ardent Steel, a subsidiary of Godawari Power and Ispat has secured environment clearance to enhance production capacity of its iron ore pelletisation plant at Keonjhar in Odisha.
The company can now increase iron ore pellet production capacity from the present 0.6mn mt to 0.69 mn mt.
Godawari power also has iron pellet production capacity of 2.1mn mt located at Siltara in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The company’s pellet production in Q3 (Oct- Dec 2019) was 770,525 mt, up by 24pc from the prior-year period.
