ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS) India has launched two new varieties of high-grade, hot-rolled steel coil and heavy steel plate called Stallion and Maximus.
The Stallion brand will be offered in a range of strengths, from mild to high-tensile, and be produced at its flat steel mills at Hazira, Gujarat. The product will be available in a variety of customized sizes and finishes, including black (untreated), or pickled and oiled.
The leading, integrated flat carbon steel producer, having 8.5mn mt of yearly capacity, will have its product distributed through Hypermart, its national retail network that serves India’s manufacturing enterprises (MSME).
The Maximus brand entails premium quality heavy plates that offer an extensive range of engineering and fabrication requirements serving the heavy industries. Plates can be of 5m, which is the widest currently offered in India.
