Aludium has hired Lionel Chapis as its new chief executive officer. Lapis, who will take over the reins from Oliver Bell starting March 1, comes with over two decades of experience across various companies in the aluminium industry. He most recently served as Constillium’s Managing Director of Automotive Solutions.
The company announced that interim chief executive officer, Oliver Bell will support Chapis through the transition period and continue his contributions as one of the company’s board of directors and operating partner at Atlas holding, the owner of Aludium.
Aludium was formed after Atlas Holdings acquired three former Alcoa mills in Spain and France and an aluminium research and development centre in Spain. The company produces and supplies aluminium sheets and coils to the industry’s core markets.
