Canadian mineral exploration firm, Altiplano Metals’ Farellon mine in Chile extracted close to 4,020mt of copper and gold ore in July, up 11.5pc from the previous month.
Of the total ore, extracted copper was graded at 1.52pc in July, which is 2pc higher than June, Altiplano noted in a statement on Aug 26.
The company shipped 2,831mt of total ore extracted for processing last month. The balance of 1,280mt mostly consisting of copper remains stockpiled at the mine and will be shipped for processing at the end of August.
Additionally, the firm’s revenue in July dropped to $243,853 compared to its revenue in June at $269,442.
